Almost no Lithium Ion batteries are recycled today due to the poor underlying economics because there is little aftermarket value in them and retrieving the valuable commodity metals is very expensive. Encell’s battery is environmentally friendly battery. Encell contributes to a lower carbon footprint for energy delivery and the company’s manufacturing strategy minimizes the transportation costs associated with getting its products to the customer by having assembly operations in or close to target markets.
